From buyer to business woman of the year
Before starting her X-Press Legal Services business Suzanne Allen spent her working days trading with manufacturers locally, nationally and internationally in her job as a retail buyer. Now she spends her days as she chooses running her home based consultancy business working for local legal practices.
She comments: “Life as a buyer was high pressure, long days, late nights and extensive travel; flexible working was just not a serious option. Running the franchise gives me the ability to plan my own day and work flexibly around my son.”

“The sales of property have increased due to mortgage lender’s criteria’s softening but we also see work from remortgage and repossession which protects us from housing market downturns. Due to the efforts of X-Press Legal Services in lobbying the government, we now have no raw material costs, our product is highly profitable. All and all 2011 is going to be an exciting and busy year for the business and I look forward to further growth”
