X-Press Legal Services
Searching for a Profitable Business
As many businesses suffer the impact of the recession with spiralling costs in their supply chain, one franchise business has just successfully removed all of the supplier costs to its franchisees.
X-Press Legal Services operates in the property related search market, providing information to solicitors and conveyancers, which is vital for the sale, remortgage and repossession of property. After lobbying the government for 18months a recent announcement from Communities and Local Government has provided X-Press with access to all of the data that they need to provide their clients with a report at no charge.
Franchise Development Director Dan Archer said “This is a fantastic result for our business which has many advantages to our franchisees. If we retain the same sale price for our product the impact of this change is a huge 81% increase in profitability.”
Over the past eighteen months X-Press Legal Services Limited have continuously been committed to reducing costs for the network, while simultaneously introducing new systems to ensure the best possible chance of success for the individual businesses.
The support provided to X-Press franchisees has not gone unnoticed and the business was a finalist in both the 2009 and 2010 bfa Franchisor of the year awards together with being a finalist in the 2010 Franchise Marketing Awards for marketing support.
As part of the franchise package each X-Press Legal franchisee is provided with an intensive two week residential training course held at the national Training Centre in Warrington, Cheshire. Delivering on all aspects of the X-Press Legal Services model, training includes business administration, industry legislation and hands on experience of running the business.
X-Press Legal Services provides a business to business service that involves dealing with professional clients, a low risk proven model and a first class product resulting in repeat, regular business. Clients, including solicitors and other conveyancing professionals all provide each franchise with a high volume but not mass market business. A relatively small number of clients can result in a large successful business.
X-Press Legal Services Limited was set up in 2000 and launched as a franchise in October 2005. With 40 franchisees across the country the business is a proven, profitable, white collar consultancy type franchise.
