Housing Density Laws to be Scrapped
According to the Guardian, the government is to scrap laws (minimum density laws) which require a minimum if 30 homes to be built on every hectare.
Greg Clarke, Minister for Decentralistation will be announcing the change later on in the week.
The removal of this law will be that housebuilders will find it easier to construct larger houses with bigger gardens.
The coalition will also amend planning rules so that gardens are no longer classified as brownfield land that can be built on.
