Manchester Centre is One of The Best Places to Grow
Manchester city centre is one of the best places for commercial property firms to grow, it has been claimed.
The city is well positioned for organisations in the UK, with Lloyds Bank and the law firm Pannone among two of the organisations that are considering moving to new premises in the area, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Speaking to the newspaper, Tony Bray, head of Manchester office at Cushman & Wakefield, said: "While UK businesses continue to grapple with a tough economic environment, Manchester is proving to be one of the best cities in which to operate and grow."
Mr Bray listed total property costs, work force availability and public transport accessibility as three of the biggest factors benefiting firms in the city.
Andrew Burrell, head of forecasting at Jones Lang LaSalle, also commented on the commercial property market recently.
Mr Burrell claimed that investors in distressed commercial property are searching for a flight to quality.
