X-PRESS LEGAL SERVICES DIRECTOR HONOURED

Christian Lister, Operations Director of Cheshire-based X-Press Legal Services Ltd., has been selected for inclusion in the forthcoming edition of Who’s Who Business Elite 2008, UK Eminent Young Business Leaders, in recognition of his contribution to the business community, especially the property and public sector information sectors.

33-year-old Chris was very surprised to be chosen and said: “To achieve entry is remarkable, a mark of distinction for X-Press Legal, our family franchise and me. Such a surprise early in 2008 bodes well for the rest of the year.”

Christian has worked closely with many industry stakeholders and, as Operations Director of The Association of Independent Personal Search Agents, Senate Member of Genesis and an executive member of CoPSO shaping future policy for the property search industry.

More recently, Chris became an expert panel member of the EU-funded ePSIplus, representing X-Press Legal Services and The Association of Independent Personal Search Agents, Genesis Senate Representative at the Bank of England and a member of the HRH Prince Michael of Kent Genesis Patrons Senate.

Now he is involved in a new Pan-European initiative called The Public Sector Information Alliance and will be working with Michael Nicholson, Nikolaus Futter, Dr Peter Hecker, Rolf Nordqvist and Kebers from Lursoft. The PSI Alliance will be launched in Prague on 23rd January with a remit to lobby EU member governments for full implementation of the EU Directive authorising access and reuse of public sector information.

“EU directives enshrine the principle of free and unfettered access to public records all across member states and the UK must be at the forefront of this market. Small and medium size business are the life-blood of the UK and EU economy, we must ensure government procrastination will not harm the PSI sector. I am working to persuade our government and EU states to adopt the directives in full without exclusion,” he added.

Christian’s entry also gave special mentions to people who have supported and offered guidance – Christopher Corbin (ePSI), Alan Cleverly OBE, Steve Davies (IPSA), Harriet Crosthwaite (Locus), Fiona Hoyle (CoPSO)

Christian’s entry is dedicated to Lynne and Dave Lister (Parents)
