X-Press Legal Services Limited Annual Conference
Warrington based X-Press Legal Services Limited hosted their annual conference earlier this month at Crewe Hall, Cheshire. The 2010 conference had an impressive turn out from the 40 plus nationwide franchise offices, industry exhibitors, sponsors, suppliers and key speakers.
Exhibitors included GroundSure, who also sponsored the champagne reception at the gala dinner held after the conference, David Bellis Consulting, and Premier EPCs.
Franchisees attended workshops on key industry updates provided by Landmark and Homefast. As well as a seminar presented by Christian Lister, Operations Director for X-Press Legal Services Limited providing an update on the latest legislation and data access issues affecting the industry.
As Christian delivered a seminar on policy and data legislation, he commented: “X-Press Legal Services welcomed The Prime Minister’s appointment of Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Professor Nigel Shadbolt to advise the Cabinet Office on how Government can make data more accessible. We have worked tirelessly since 2004 to bring about policy and legislative change, this is our year. Our commitment to data legislation and its reform is paramount. 2010 is the key year for access to data with pioneering decisions to be taken to the High Court and Information Commissioners tribunals.”
X-Press Legal Services Limited was set up in 2000 and launched as a franchise in October, 2005. X-Press Legal Limited specialises in providing property searches and reports for solicitors and other professional conveyancers.
