GroundSure Developer, has been designed specifically to provide developers with a previously unavailable opportunity to undertake rapid risk screening of a site pre-purchase.
The report provides an expert two page A3 summary which identifies site findings, recommendations and offers specific answers to the critical questions asked by property developers such as:
- What is the most significant potential source of contamination identified?
- Has previous infilling been identified on site that may affect foundations?
- What is the most significant potential source of soil gas that may impact on the redevelopment of the study site?
- Is intrusive investigation likely to be required at the study site?
The report, appropriate for any size of development, is based on similar datasets to the Review product. However, the assessment is focused on issues that are relevant to Brownfield development, e.g. how likely is significant expenditure on site investigations / remediation in order to get planning consent and what significant potential contamination sources are likely to be encountered.
