The X-Press Academy – your pathway to success

Our existing network of Franchisees come from all walks of life, and a diverse range of backgrounds and former careers. No previous experience of the property search or conveyancing sector is necessary due to our intensive 3-week induction training programme, which all new Franchisees experience. The sole aim is to get you up and running for the day you are open for business.

This initial training is backed-up by an ongoing sales and support programme which includes onsite personal mentoring, marketing launch activity via a solicitor’s Continual Professional Development (CPD) seminar programme, client meeting support, and active social media across all our channels.

Ongoing training is also provided by the X-Press Academy, which is run by a leading Business Development Coach. The Academy consists of a series of bespoke workshops run bi-monthly for the entire X-Press Franchise Network. Subjects covered include all aspects of business management and personal development, including:

The Academy Programme is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) with attendees qualifying for ILM Certificates. Every Franchisee attending the Academy is DISC profiled, a communication and behavioural profiling system that helps to identify personal strengths and limitations. This then helps to define future Academy sessions.

While attendance at the Academy is optional, the uptake is very high with Franchisees acknowledging the significant benefits it has to offer. Franchisees engaging with the Academy have seen an average increase in business of 15%, with some achieving almost double that.

The Academy also features the X-Cellence and X-Cellerator Clubs which offer high-achieving Franchisees unique business networking opportunities, along with a forum to share best practice. There is also a twice-yearly Roadshow supported by 15 business partners, as well as an annual Conference which celebrates the success of the business, including the crowning of the prestigious Franchisee of the Year Award.
